Seven Week Training

Casie Ravert has been a church pianist for over 20 years and has taught hymn playing for over 15 years. This is a 7 week series that offers one on one training via online lessons that are geared towards church pianists and adult hymn students seeking to advance their hymn playing skills.

- Congregational playing

- Accompanying by Ear

- Offertory Arranging 

- Chord Substitutions

Lesson Length:

- 45 minutes for 7 weekly lessons

$450 (includes lessons and materials)

*Make up lessons are not available, and refunds are not given for missed lessons. Because Casie teaches weekly students. there are specific times that are available. Church pianists will be given those available lesson slots to choose from.

I found the lessons to be extremely helpful in giving me strategies to work on. Being a teacher, I have limited time and energy during the school year, so I devoted my summer to lessons and practice time. The fact that the lessons are only 7 weeks gave me enough time to learn and develop new skills to practice during the school year.

I love that the lessons were tailored to meet me where I was at. My lessons focused on making my hymn playing better, transitioning, and offertory prep. Since the lessons, I've had many people comment on growth in my hymn and offertory playing. If finances allow, I would love to do this again in the summer!
