Church Pianist Lessons

Casie Ravert has been a church pianist for over 20 years and has taught hymn playing for over 17 years. This is a 7 week series that offers one on one training via online lessons that are geared towards church pianists and adult hymn students seeking to advance their hymn playing skills.

- Congregational hymn playing

- Accompanying by Ear

- Offertory Arranging 

- Chord Substitutions

Lesson Length

45 minutes for 7 weekly lessons

Cost per session

$450 (includes lessons and materials/books)

 

Requirements

Students should be at an intermediate level

and able to read all notes on the staff easily. Students must be 18 years or older. (Age exceptions do apply based on the students level and discipline.)

Time Zone

Casie is located in EST and teaches according to her time zone. Due to her teaching a full studio of weekly lessons, there are specific times that are available. Church pianists will be given those available lesson slots to choose from. She does not teach after 6:00 pm EST and before 9:00 am EST. Please check your time zone before registering.

*Make up lessons are not available, and refunds are not given for missed lessons. It is the responsibility of the student to be at each lesson. If a lesson is missed, the student is encouraged to continue working through what they were given at the previous lesson. If in the rare instance Casie is to miss, lesson will be rescheduled.
